ABOUT THE PROJECT

New residential complex Jasmine Garden with total area 4600 m2 is situated in a quiet part of Bulduri, at Jasminu street, just 700 m from the sea. 48 apartments in four buildings of the project – Luisa, Patricia, Stephanie and Aurelia, will be home for those who have long dreamed of life by the sea.

Architectural solution

The main task entrusted to architects from AB3D and the author of the project Juris Mitenbergs was natural integration of the project into Jurmala environment and surrounding historical buildings, typical for this part of Bulduri. With that goal in mind we decided to reduce built-up area. So, instead of one big building, four 3-storied separate buildings with shared underground parking were created. This concept allowed to locate the buildings among the remaining trees, keeping the harmony of the environment and making no-hurry lifestyle, typical for resort towns.

There are two finishing materials used for facades of Luisa, Patricia, Stephanie and Aurelia – special wood which is aged using the latest technologies and high-quality extended tiles. Spacious terraces and balconies with lacelike latticed borders will decorate the building with an air of lightness, giving unique charm to the appearance of the project. Jasmine Garden’s landmark will be garden jasmine sorts which gave name for the project’s buildings.

Arrangement

Each of 48 apartments that meet all business-class project requirements has its own balcony while the apartments of the 3rd floor have roof terraces. Area of apartments varies from 42 m2 (2 rooms) up to 88 m2 (4 rooms). Each arrangement is individually designed. Windows in the apartments face 2 or 3 sides, up to the maximum providing the interior space with natural light throughout the day.

The apartments have wardrobes and separate facilities for household appliances to provide you with best possible and comfortable storage of your belongings. The house is also provided with a space to park bicycles, strollers and to keep sports equipment and other large-sized or seasonal things.

Children playground and recreation area are located outside. The whole area is fenced and is accessible from the outside through the underground car parking.

Garden jasmine will be key element in landscaping of the project. Jasmine plants which the buildings were inspired to be named after, i.e. Luisa, Patricia, Stephanie and Aurelia, every summer will make the residents happy with their snow-white flowers and subtle aroma.

Much attention is paid to saving as much as possible the surrounding trees: within the framework of the project more than forty pine trees are saved, including those in the internal garden and among the buildings. This natural Jurmala environment makes it pleasant to enjoy a talk with your family and friends, in the evening, after a walk along the seaside.

ABOUT BULDURI

For most people and guests of Latvia Jurmala is the largest resort in the Baltic region. This honorary and undoubtful status dates back to 19th century: white sandy beaches, calming beating of waves of the Gulf of Riga, healthy air of the pine forest, highly developed tourism infrastructure and rich cultural life make Jurmala an ideal choice for those who understand the value of the calming and mild Baltic climate. Jasmine Garden is located in the eastern part of Jurmala – in the heart of quiet neighbourhood of Bulduri, just 800 m away from the sea and 600 m away from the Lielupe River, in vicinity to Latvian capital: Riga Airport is just a 15-minute drive away and the Old Riga is 25 minutes away. Name “Bulduri” comes from the land tenant Buldring, who became possessor of these lands in the end of the 15th century. One of the first Riga suburban areas was founded here in the middle of the 19th century. In the beginning of the 20th century Bulduri started acquiring its modern appearance alongside with construction of elegant wooden mansions of German aristocracies, in a unique way combining classical traditions, art nouveau and national romanticism, recognized as remarkable monuments of the Latvian architecture.

The most characteristic element in the landscape of Bulduri’s residential part is the pine forest, typical for Jurmala and Latvian seaside in general. Dendrological park is now located in the territory of the first Latvian Gardening school established in 1910.

Throughout the whole year, Jurmala offers many leisure opportunities: such legendary Bulduri’s restaurants as Giardino, Philippe and Legend.
